PERMITTED ITEMS:

Replica weapons and LARP weapons made of foam, rubber, latex, cardboard, soft plastic, wood (maximum thickness 3 cm), or thermoplastic materials, with a maximum length of 1.5 m. Shields are permitted up to a diameter of 80 cm, provided they are not made entirely of metal.
Bows without a real string (max. 1.5 m length) as well as flexible and blunt arrows.

NOT PERMITTED:

Bladed or edged weapons with sharp or blunt metal blades or pointed tips (e.g. sabres, machetes, axes, morning stars). Concealed bladed or edged weapons (e.g. sword canes, knife keychains). Knives and one-handed knives (any knife with a one-hand locking blade; exception: functional pocket knives). Firearms requiring a permit or not requiring a permit, as well as ammunition of any kind (loaded, unloaded, or deactivated). Realistic-looking imitations of firearms, ammunition, hand grenades, and similar items (replicas, props, decorative weapons). Crossbows, precision slingshots, throwing weapons. Knuckle dusters, blackjacks, steel rods, batons, garrotes, nunchaku.
Pepper spray and other irritant spray devices, as well as electric shock devices (“stun guns”). Pyrotechnics and explosive items such as firecrackers, rockets, flares, and torches.

In case of doubt, the decision made by the security staff is final and cannot be appealed.

The ANNOTOPIA event thrives on its impressions and visual diversity, particularly of its participants and visitors. Capturing these impressions is an essential part of the event and a motivation for many visitors and photographers. In the broadest sense, the creation of photographs and videos falls under artistic activity, protected by the Copyright Act (KUG), which remains valid even after the GDPR comes into effect.

During ANNOTOPIA, photos and videos are taken for documentation, post-event reporting, and promotion of subsequent events (e.g., website, print media, photo galleries, social networks). These recordings are associated with the visual representation of individuals present. The selection of individuals is purely random. By entering the event premises or purchasing a ticket, individuals automatically consent to the free publication of their image in the aforementioned manner, without requiring explicit consent from the individual.

The recordings are stored indefinitely, but solely for the aforementioned purposes, primarily of a non-commercial nature. We also rely on the principle of proportionality, which allows for photographing individuals in situations where obtaining consent from each individual practically isn’t feasible, both for the organizer and the photographers at ANNOTOPIA.

Note: All images and audio recordings created and subsequently published in ANNOTOPIA are available for unrestricted use by the organizer (noa entertainment – events & more GbR); consent from the creator is not required.
